iReport Line chart: Data point outside highest Value Axis label

Hi,

I have a line chart in iReport 3.7.5 displaying a date on the Category axis and the decimal number on the Value axis. The data in the value axis changes according to my parameters. When I use dummy data to test my jrxml, I have inputted two decimal numbers of the same value for two different dates. Although I am essentialyl shown a straight line, the value of this data (52) appears to be out of the chart area, as the Value axis has labels only until '50'.

Since this data is dynamic, I cannot set a Range Axis max value. Although I could use Time Series, it doesn't fulfill the requirements properly.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Class customizer is one option to resolve this so that range axis next value takes 60 and charts looks ok.

I can't use chart customizer because before deployment I'll have to add some extra files.

You can add the field into the range say $F{FieldName}+new Integer(10) this will give you the dynamic value to your range value
