sort componet

I'm using iReport 5.6.0.

I need sort some column when the report was excecuted. So, I add a sort componet in the report.

I excecuted the report and when i click on sort componet, it don't work.

Why?

There's no such thing as a "sort component" in JasperReports. You probably using something else or just sorting a column during report layout design.

JasperReports Server has a feature to sort by column on tables and lists but this is a feature of JasperReports Server and not JasperReports itself.

I'm using Jaspersoft iReport Designer 5.6.0 to desing the report.
Then, i import the report in Spagobi.

In Jaspersoft iReport Designer 5.6.0 and Spagobi don't sort column when the report executed.
