Mary.Tyckoson
I'm trying to create a simple input control of multiple text values, e.g. itype IN ('fbk','fsr','fvi'), selected from a query of the database (sybase ASE 15.5). I'm using the lastest versions of JasperServer Community ed. and Jasper Studio. I'm completely stumped on creating the input control. I know that, in addition to the setup of query and input control on the server side, I need a parameter that defines and calls the query (select itype from itype) on the jrxml side, and I've gotten this far, but everything I've tried from here fails. Can anyone show me an example of what the source code should look like, or any other help? Getting desperate. Screenshots of parameter and source attached.the source code looks like below
Mary.Tyckoson
Thanks to the WhatGiants YubeTube video in input controls, I finally managed to get at least a simple SQL query based parameter working, instead of having it keep telling me that the parameter doesn't exist. horseman
HI Mary,Your report parameter 'itype' which will receive multiple values from your select should be a java.util.List rather than a java.util.Collection.Regards from PARIS.
