Folder Structure in Jasper Server Library View

Hello,

I run a JasperServer Pro AWS instance for a client and they have asked if its possible to organise the "Library" view of Jasperserver to put their reports into folder structures.

I can't see a way to do this, could someone please advise how to acheive this.

An alternative would be to land users at the repository viewer but its too technical for most of their users. If there was a way to show them a very cut down version of hte repository viewer, or perhaps even open the repository viewer at a particular folder then that might solve this issus as well. Are either of those options possible?

Hi Carl,

How many reports will each user have? Using our latest Jaspersoft Server 5.5 will generate a custom homepage for each user with a list of the 10 recently used reports. (Each user will have a unique list).

I have encountered the same problem. Because we are using the AWS version i can not create an organization and play with that but what you have suggested would resolve our problem. Could you please elaborate on this solution for those of us who have a similar problem .

Anyone found solution to this problem?

I created a new role and user and Library view is listing all the gif, jpeg and css files as well. How to restrict that and configure the server to only display Reports and Adhoc Views?
