If there is nothing available out there, would be somebody interested in a iReport on NB74 with maven instead ant? So I will build a fork... And will be someone interested in barcode features like alignment and a qr barcode?
Not to say you shouldn't do this but, keep in mind that we're transitioning to Jaspersoft Studio:
iReport/Jaspersoft Studio Support Announcement As of version 5.5.0, Jaspersoft Studio will be the official design client for JasperReports. iReport will remain as a supported product in maintenance-only mode until December 31, 2015, meaning we will continue to fix critical defects in upcoming releases but no new features will be added to the iReport client. Continue to maintain your existing reports with the new Jaspersoft Studio!
yes, I know. But maybe this is the point. I love Netbeans. I worked over years with it, and after this I worked years mit Eclipse. And I have to say that I do not really like the Eclipse platform (most time it's to lame and to much overloaded, that's the main point for me). I would like to see the report app on NB in future too. So maybe this is the best time to start it with the last version based on NB. Maybe I will do this only for me, because others are very lucky with Eclipse :-)

Thanks for your feedback, Hisham, I'll route this thread up the chain FTI (for their information).
