Simple Query Input Control

How can I get a list going down using Input Control for INTERNAL_NAME Column? I want to be able to select from a scroll down list in the final report in jasperServer. Do I choose Single Query for type? What do I have to make sure in JRXML file?  

 

SELECT INTERNAL_NAME FROM UNU.PROVIDER

Hi,

Create input control as Single select list of values for single value selection and as Multiselect list of values for multiple selection from list.

Create your iReport query with where condition - single select $P{}, multiselect  $X{} (java.util.collection or java.util.list).

Thanks for a great response! I'm getting the list to work but not able to generate the report when clicking on one of the values. I will send a image of it. i'm using single select $P{}, I'm not sure what exactly I'm missing.
