I add fields in the query of the report but they do not appear in the list so I can add them to the report. What do I do?

First of all you can check that query is working fine ? If yes then check whether the desired colums get listed in the list below in the Report query window, do ensure that the retrieve fields automatically is checked . You could see the same in FIG1
If they get listed , then you are good to go but if you get the columns without the labels .i.e. you get empty fields higlighted in blue then there might be a problem that you would have used aggregate functions and have not givena label to them so they might not find the label.
Please check if this works
