I'm running Jaspersoft ETL on 2 platforms (winows 7 64 bit). 1 desktop and 1 laptop.
When using the XML importfile (I only set the Loop xPath query) and while defining the property type and schema type my desktop keeps promting that there is a problem, most likely caused by a wrong Encoding type. Tis happens at the point when I click the button "Refresh Preview". I have ruled this out by changing the Encoding type as it is set in the xml file. (note, on my laptop this is no issue at all.)
When i do the exact same steps in my laptop I get a set of data from the file.
There is a ton of stuff that can be different between 2 systems, and since its required for Japsersoft ETL on *nix distro's to have Libxml2 installed I think this might be related. But is this the right reasoning?
