c-george Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 Hi,I need to produce a report and/or dashboard where user can drag and drop columns and metrics.I need to have full list of columns from the tables, Once a user drag and drop columns and metrics on the report area, he or she would apply filters.Since I'm quite new to Jaspesoft, I have realy dificult time to figure it out.It seems that any report needs a pre-define query and there is no much room for a dynamic ad-hoc queries.Am I right? You get ad hoc reporting (all the items you mentioned), dashboards and multi-tenancy in the commercial edition of the product. c-george Posted June 29, 2012 Author Share Posted June 29, 2012 Hi, I just downloaded the professional version of iReport and did not see any difference.I still have to have pre-define query in order to create report.And then, iReport is trying to execute the query prior to creating a report.
