How can I apply a style to a textfield

I am relatively new to JasperReports. Due to the lack of an eclipse plugin in 2010/2011, I used IReport to generate Reports. Now I am trying to use this new Eclipse plugin (1.0.8).

Something I tried was to apply a style to a textfield. I have not found where I can adjust that. Can it be that this is not adjustable at the moment?

Can it be that this plugin is in an beta stage? Is the Jaspersoft Studio intended for production use?

select your element, go to properties, Advanced->Graphics->Parent Style
