installation of JasperStuio plugin

0

What are the pre-requisties to running the plugin?  I just tried to install through the update site into a Helios eclipse version however the plugin doesn't seem to come up.

Is there a specifc version of eclipse that it works with?

What might I be missing?

Hello, am running Eclipse 3.3.2

Have also installed the Jaspersoft Studio but I can't find any reference to the plugin when I create a project.

There's also nothing in the contextual menu of a project to add a nature. There's also no reference to the plugin under the perspective menu either.

Just wondering if I'm missing something. Is there a tutorial / documentation regarding using the plugin once it's installed or to test whether or not the plugin has actually installed correctly?

Thx in advance, Tim

I just updated it from 0.2.2 to 0.2.3, and I notice that all those 0.2.2 jar files still exist, anyway to remove them ? If next version come out, and update again, i guess my Eclipse will grow bigger, because of older jar files.

Hi

eclipse standard plug-in update mechanism is used, so eclipse probably will grow in size, but this jars are not used

I don't know if we will modify this in near future
