how to print single quote ( ' ) in jasperReport

As captioned, how to print single quote (e.g. X'mas) in jasperReport 0.64? I found it only print X mas, without the single quote!! I try modify the field value to X\'mas but it print X\ mas, still missing the single quotes!!

if jasperReport 0.64 has no this function, then which version support printing (and exporting) single quotes??

JR 0.6.4 is more than 5 years old now. However, what output type are we talking about? AWT, HTML, PDF? Is it about a styled text field? Can we see the report template?

PDF.

Because the jrxml is in my company and I am in home now, so I don't know whether it is styled text field, I will update this information when I return to company.

Export to PDF.

The field in iReport is just textfield, with font 新細明體, and PDF font name is MSung-Light.

PDF Encoding is UniCNS-UCS2-H (Chinese traditional)

TextField Expression Class is java.lang.String

is the info. enough?
