How to set the text field's Stretch Types?

hi Everyone,

Apologize for my Chinese English.

I using iReport to make a report,but i have a big problem in the text field property's set.

 In my report,some text field's height cannot include all the  text form an Oracle CLOB or a parameter,after i selected the Stretch With Overflow property,complete text displayed,but it cover the next rows.

Maybe this is a simple question,but i tried everything,so if anybody knows the problem,Please reply.

and all i want to do is as follows:

1.the text field shows all the text.

2.the report's Detail element can adjust position and size make sure no one being covered,if it cannot displays in one page,shows in next page.

JRDesignTextField txt = new JRDesignTextField();

txt.setStretchWithOverflow(true);

You will need to change a couple of things.

1. Turn the "Stretch with overflow" property on.

2. Change the "Position Type" of some fields from "FixedRelativeToTop" to "Float". This will be done for the fields that are currently being cut off.
