maza Posted October 15, 2007 Share Posted October 15, 2007 hii would have a direct link from a external programm to the repository.The problem is, that i have to login to the repository before i start the direct link.i tried acegi security but it didn't work. i will run acegi under a tomcat server. my direct link is: http://139.29.6.27:18080/jasperserver/flow.html?_flowId=viewReportFlow&reportUnit=/reports/Prod/test3&j_acegi_security_check?j_username=jasperadmin&password=password&Param_CpyNRID=605207&Param_DBName=MRCOEN is this link right?and if it is where is the problem?can anyone explain how to install acegi on a tomcat server.. i know the site of the FAQ... but it doesn't workis there anything else besides acegi security... it's really importantthx in advancemartin Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You need to provide credentials to authenticate against JasperServer/Acegi in the request, not as parameters. You can use HTTP Basic to present the user name and password.
