tkavanagh
Hi, these are sometimes database connection errors... the first Spring bean definition that attempts to get a database connection fails and then there is a long chain of errors reported. Then the original error is easy to miss... A couple of questions: Did you install using the installer? Or did you do a manual install from the war file binary distribution zip? Also, which platform are you running on. And which java version. One thing to check is whether you can connect to your database (with the same credentials that JasperServer will try and use). -Tony
bbedit
thank for your reply, I 'm using installer to install J asperserver and my environment is Windows Vista Business running bundled Tomcat and my own installed MySQL 6.0. I 'm not sure about Java version , Do you mean the Java version in Jasperserver folder or the JRE in the system; if you mention the Java version in Jasperserver I 'm using version JDK v.5 while the JRE is V.
lucianc
We've seen this before (see here). If I remember correctly, the issue occurred because the default system locale was set to Thailand and this caused the Buddhist calendar to be used which confused Quartz. What is your system's default locale? Regards,Lucian
bbedit
Currently, it is set to Thailand. what should i do to solver the locale problem?
lucianc
As described in the thread I mentioned earlier, if you don't specifically need the error log purging job you can edit WEB-INF/applicationContext-logging.xml, find the maintenanceScheduler bean and remove the logPurgerTrigger line. Otherwise, we need to investigate more and see why Quartz doesn't like this scenario. HTH,Lucian
Conrado
Hi all,I received the same error while trying to run Jasperserver. Installation done with MySQL and Tomcat not bundled. Problem solved by redirecting Tomcat's reference for the JVM to <js-install>javajrebinserverjvm.dll.Is it a matter concerning Java-Version ?
