Jasper Reports for Excel generation

I am trying to use Jasper Reports for Excel as well as PDF generation. In the site, it clearly mentions how to generate PDF using Jasper. It talks about the XML file and all. But I could not find any information as to how to generate Excel file using Jasper. Is it possible? If yes, where can I get the info? And how easy it is?

Hi,

 

It is about using the JRXlsExporter class.

Almost all the samples found in the /demo/samples

directory of the project show how to generate

XLS content.
