Linux, Xserver and Jasper

2003-05-29 11:02

I have Xserver installed on my Linux 7.2 machine and everything works great when I start Jasper web application from console. However, when I start it as a cron job and access reports, Jasper throws the following error:

java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to X11 window server using ':0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable.

Any ideas?

Please search the Help forum for the answer: You can e.g. use the Java 1.4 headless support feature to run JasperReports without a running X Server.
