XLS Exporting - blank rows and borders.

In exporting to Excel Spreadsheet I found that I'm getting 3 blank rows before my column header, one after that, and then one additional row between every row of data.

 

I have set all non-essential elements not to print when exporting to XLS or CSV.

 

Is there any way to get rid of these, as well as the border arounf the spreadsheet.

The blank rows before the column header could be your top and bottom margins. The blank rows between rows of data sounds like a design issue. Perhaps we could see your report definition.
