ireport's band hieght & report's page hieght

Hi,

In report properties
page width = 20.990 cm
hieght=29.889 cm
But when u right click and go to band properties then
it shows
detail band hieght 769
title band hieght = 36
Can u tell me what is the unit of band hieght and how it's co-related with report's hieght.

band height is measured in pixels here 769px = 27.129cm
The total height of all bands has to fit into report height.
