Teodor,

 

I would like to display an output stream to screen in HTML format and was wondering how I could go about doing this? You already have a tool for displaying streams in pdf.

 

The reason for this instead of saving to a file is that multiple users may need to generate various reports at the same time but with different content and I do not want them over writing each other's work on the server, but rather show their results directly to their screens and have them print the results if they choose to.

I was able to successfully put the stringBuffer (using the PrintServlet example) to my output screen but now I'm wondering if there is an alternate way to do this, because the white spaces that I use for formatting (img and px files) are being displayed as images that cannot be found because they don't exist.

 

Is there a way to get around this?

Hi,

 

The "webapp" sample that comes with 0.4.4

does exactly what you need.

No more HTML files on disk.
