mundrameenaxi
On jasperserver 7.2 when the field of a report is of type jasva.sql.timestamp, its rendering is not correct in UI. DB- 2/5/12 05:42 PMUI - 12-42-05 17:42:24This was working fine in 6.4. Even w/o specifying date format on field in jasper report. Actually minutes are showing in place of months. Report SQL give me correct data, but when same is not seen on jasperserver
Solution mlopez_1 Posted February 20, 2020 Solution Share Posted February 20, 2020 You can use a textfield -> Properties -> Text Field -> Pattern to format timestampsRegards
mundrameenaxi
mlopez - this was working fine in 6.4 , but with 7.2 this isn't working. we have 100's of existing reports where java.sql.timestamp is the field type. changing each report is not feasible. Tom C
This is caused by a defect that the timestamp field is incorrectly formatted in JasperReports Server code displaying minutes in day of the month position. This bug JS-34004 is fixed in version 7.5.
christoph.schubert
You can search all the config files in jaspersoft for ".mm." case-sensitive.(Or search for -mm- and /mm/ as well)There are several places where dd.MM.yy is defined as dd.mm.yy.. For example: datepicker.js or jasperserver_config_de.properties.(Or dd/MM/yy is dd/mm/yy)Just exchange the "mm" to "MM", when it is meant to be months and restart Jasperserver. And there you go, you dont have to wait for 7.5 ;) Please ensure NOT to substitue MM in hh:mm:ss or similar. Otherwise you would have Months as minutes...
