gordan.kresic Posted January 11, 2020 Share Posted January 11, 2020 JasperReports 6.10 (also tested 6.11) started generating images in HTML using "background-image" CSS attribute (up to 6.9 iz was using <img> HTML tag). Unfortunatelly, Microsoft Outlook (tested 365 version) doesn't support such images and doesn't render them.I'm not saying that JR should compromise functionality based on Outlook (even more so considering "background-image" CSS attribute works in Thunderbird, Gmail and several other e-mail clients). However, much of our clients are using Outlook and we would like not to exclude them (at least at this point).So, my question is: is there a way to force JR 6.10/6.11 to revert to rendering images using <img> tag instead of "background-image" CSS attribute?
