Page numbers with multiple group headers

Hi all.

I have a report with 2 different group headers and I can't manage to get the page numbers working for them.
I have the page number (x/y) sitting in the page footer (not group footer) of the report. I need them to display the page number x/y for each individual section. Each time it hits a new header, group 1 or group 2, it will reset the x/y page number.

I have enabled the option to reset the page number for both group headers. I think the problem may lie at the evalution time of the text boxes containing the $V{PAGE_NUMBER} element? But I am not sure.

The report runs such as there will be multiple group 2 headers for each group 1 header.

Any help would be great.

Hi David,

Indeed, the thing may be in evaluation time of Text Field, where variable is used. You can set evaluation time to Auto, it might help to achieve the requirement of yours
