Table of Contents display level 1 entries once

Hi folks,

i've got a problem with specific displaying bookmarks in a table of contents within a jasperbook.

The bookmarks are transfered to the toc report and displayed in two levels.

Level 1: Inside a Group Band based on a printwhenexpression level==1

Level 2: Inside a Detail Band based on a printwhenexpression level==2

This works, but i need to suppress, that entries in level one get printed multiple times (print repeated values is disabled for the label).

I tried to get it work with variables, that detect a change in level 1, but it doesn't work.

Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance

Did you set your bookmark level on the 'Bookmark' fields ?

Are your bookmark fields Level 1 grouped ?

The TOC is generated based on the vertical flow of the report. For each occurence of a bookmark in the report, a TOC entry is generated. So you need to make sure your ToC entries for level 1 appear only once in the report.
