stop a band repetition

Hello,

If I have a groupExpression who duplicates some parts of my report how can I stop a new band created to be repeated (I have 2 bands in a group, one I want to be repetead and one not) ?

 <detail>

        <band height="15" splitType="Prevent">

              .......(code repeated after a parameter who earns more values)

          </band>

       <!--new band -->

        

          <band height="15" splitType="Prevent">

      .......(code I want to be at the end of the band above)

        </band>

I want the second band to be at the end of the first band after the first band finish it repetition. In my report it shows me the first element from the first band + the second band then second element from the first band + the second band and so on.

I have the same problem. I read something about isPrintRepeatedValues="false" if you are interested.

If i undertand your report design description correctly, you will have to move the data out of the Detail band to stop the repetition. For example keep the first Detail as is, and move the contents of the seconde Detail to the Group Footer.

As long as the data is in Detail band it will get re-printed
