  1. A xsd is a simple way to validate a xml file. It is a standard for describing the structure of a xml file. Also it is a good way to check if it is a <7.0.0 jrxml or a 7.0.0 jrxml. The third reason is, that you can register it to your xml editor and see what options are available on which tag.
  2. For the version before 7.0.0 there is a xsd at http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/xsd/jasperreport.xsd . Sadly, I cannot find a xsd for the 7.0.0 version. Even at the github page https://github.com/TIBCOSoftware/jasperreports no xsd is included. Can anybody tell me, where to find the new version?
  3. We would really appreciate, if there would be such a conversion utility.
