Tibco support found the problem. We raised Tomcat/Java min- and max memory to 16GB and the reports run now. -
Ah, ok now I understand. Yes, JasperReports has a valid commercial license and thus enabled pro features. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

JasperReports 8.1.1 ad-hoc view based on domains are not presented, just spinning. Other reports for the same data load just fine but not ad-hoc views . Driver is JDBC based and I can see the query on the database level and also in the ad-hoc cache. There is nothing of interest in the logfiles. How to troubleshoot this kind of problem? Thanks beforehand.
