Looks like ScaleFont does not work at all. I have a field with the expression "$F{last_name}+ ", "+ $F{first_name}". In case of any longer option other that that fits the physical text box size (MIXEDNAME, VERYLONGNAME) it just cut the rest of the lite, for example, "MIXEDNAME, ", it just behaves as "CutText".
