Is there a reason the community version with bugs was developed? I would strongly suggest to drop it and only offer commercial versions. Or else fire your QA department and hire some specialists.

Windows 10 64, local JasperServer 8.2.0, JasperSoft Studio 6.20.6 Trying to publish tutorial 'Products' report created in Studio with Sample DB data adapter. In Studio viewer everything works perfect, report is rendered with no issues. In Jasper Studio when publishing report selected 'Local data Source' and then clicked on 'Import From Jaspersoft Studio': Clicked 'Finish' and got the error message: Any advice?

Resolved: removed JDK 21 and installed JDK 11.0.21. Installation succeeded. current output of java -version: Warning: Jasper reports server 8.2.0 is NOT COMPATIBLE with JDK 21 And, probably, with JDK 17.0.9 as well. Thank you, JasperSoft!

Log file: BUILD FAILED C:\Jaspersoft\jasperreports-server-cp-8.2.0\buildomatic\bin\app-server.xml:42: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: org/openjdk/nashorn/api/scripting/NashornScriptEngineFactory has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 55.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 52.0 Any advice?
