In the IReport versions, the input controls were prompted for the reports which were deployed using the hyperlinks. Now in Studio, it is seen that the input controls are not prompted unless there is a mandatory input control is specified. Ideally all input controls are to be prompted irrespective or mandatory flagging, just like the way in which it was done in IReport. Can we change it through some configuration?

'Replace with current document' option used to be a handy in the old version of IReport to replace the jrxml files with the one we are working on. Now in Jaspersoft Studio, it seems we have to follow the steps File>Save As> Select path and folder>select the input controls to be applied and publish. Is it this way or am i missing any new feature in studio.
