Ohh man this worked. Thank you so much you saved my day.. I'd just set the "splitting type" to "prevent" at your detail band... that means, that the whole detailband is moved to next page, when one of it's element is stretching to the next page. Of course if your textfield will stretch over 2 pages at all, it won't work (as then the selected "prevent" type would actually cause an infinity loop, that is catched of course)... but in most cases we've used it successfully to prevent breaking content that should keep together. hth + regards C-Box

as an example report is like that. first name last name address but I need to give user via angular 12 app to show this report and change it like that. last name first name address. then need to generate jrxml back from changes and send to back end jsper server for generating report.

I need to give sample master jrxml template file generated from jasper studio to angular 12 front end applicaton. At the anguar 12 application I need to display the real report exactly like in jasper studio showing the jrxml file and give user to modify the jrxml template inside angular 12. At last angular 12 generate new modified jrxml file and send to to spring boot 2.5 beck end for generating report. I need to know jrxml modification from angular 12 possible. If yes how it can be done.
