I am running JasperSoft Studio v6.15.0 Community Edition on an 8-core 32GB RAM machine using Windows 10 64-Bit. It is running VERY slow. The application takes over a minute to start up, and every mouse click or user action takes 3-15 seconds to react. For example: If I open one of my reports and click on a $F field it take 5 seconds to highlight the field, then another 5-10 seconds to display the expression editor. I thought maybe increasing the heap size would help so I modified the Jaspersoft Studio.ini file to increase the -Xms and -Xmx parameters but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Is there another/better way to get this application running faster? Maybe something at the project/report level? Thanks in advance for any help!
