  1. Any status on the above? Comment posted by rn.chotu.177 not understood. Please clarify. Thanks. Meanwhile, did the team at Tibco find an answer?
  2. Hello bdraifi. Thanks for your efforts to assist. We tried to implement the solution you suggested (try version 8), and were not able to resolve the issue. We are in the process of opening a support ticket, but since Jaspersoft Studio appears to be licensed through Corelation, should the request be submitted through Corelation, or can we submit the ticket directly to Tibco?
  3. Thanks for your assistance; below is what is reported when clicking on the details button of the exception: /sites/default/files/user_uploads/grobinson/jrxml_error_22sep2023.png
  4. Actually, I have to re-track my previous statement: just used Beatrice to create a new report, and still getting the same error message referenced on Sep 15th about "illegal.parameter.value.error"
  5. Please disregard; A solution that fixed the problem was recommended by a contact at another CU.
  6. Applied suggested fix for error produced; not working and getting JRXML version warning below: When "OK" is pressed, it tries to publish, but I get the original error shown below:
  7. I tried to resolve the error received by following the instructions in "Studio error "illegal.parameter.value.error" when you have a textfield isStretchWithOverflow = true", but the issue is not resolved. I went to Window>Preferences>Jaspersoft Studio>Compatibility in Studio, and set the version as shown below: The report runs successfully in Studio, but when I try to publish it to Jaspersoft Server, it still produces the error below: I even tried to delete the references in the source tab on lines where the textfields used "isStretchWithOverflow=true"; this created other errors. Could use any help available to resolve.
  8. I just upgraded to Jaspersoft® Studio Professional 7.5.0, and noticed that although the documentation shows that when a report in run in the Preview tab, a dropdown option to "Run Interactive Report (Jive) is there. However, the app does not contain a dropdown menu; it only appears in 7.1. (Please see screen captures below) Is there a way to have the preview tab in 7.5 match the 7.5 user guide documentation (Chapter 3; page 41 - "Figure 3-2 Preview Tab of a Report") , and provide the drop down menu provided in version 7.1? PREVIEW TAB (version 7.5) PREVIEW TAB (version 7.1)
  9. I’m adding multiple filters to an ad hoc view and using “is one of” in order to select multiple values from a list. When I created a custom filter expression that says: (A or B) and C and D, the filters that use “is one of” (A or B) automatically force you to select a value for filters A and B; when deselecting all values, the error message “Select one or more items” appears. Does anyone know a way around this other that creating the same report in Jaspersoft Studio and controlling the input controls and parameters in SQL?
  10. Situation: I’ve created a dashlet that uses a multi-select query for the input control. When the dashlet appears in Keystone, it allows you to select one person from the list provided. However, if more that one person is selected, the value provided (total loan balance) for all persons selected is the same, even though other values are unique for each person selected. Does anyone have any idea what would cause this?
  11. I'm getting the following error in Excel when I use a SQL statement in Excel to retrieve data from my LIVE database using an ODBC connection: "ODBC: SUCCESS_WITH_INFO [01003] [iBM][CLI Driver][DB2/AIX64] SQLSTATE 01003: Null values were eliminated from the argument of a column function." I looked up the error at IBM's support page, (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/92159), and it's occurring because one of the column functions in my SQL statement contains a row with NULLs. I tried modifying the file db2cli.ini file that's referenced in the solution based on the instructions to resolve the error, but had not success. If anyone has dealt with this error before and was able to resolve; I'd greatly appreciate your help.
  12. Thanks very much to all of you!!! Just started using Jaspersoft less than a year ago, and your solution still works great!!! Just wanted to say THANK YOU!
  13. Hello all! I'm new to the Jaspersoft Community, so please excuse my ignorance if this question has been asked and answered previously; couldn't find a direct answer myself. Is there any way to determine when the last time an adhoc report was run? My goal is to eliminate unused ad hoc reports that are listed in the repository; there are hundreds of them, and I'm sure that quite a few of them have not been run for some time. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Gil
