Telnet:command not found.. As I Don't have internet connectivity in vm, yum install telnet is not working, unable to install it using rpm file it shows failed depend dependencies error. . Nc command also not working.. Do we have any other way to check the same?

I need to configure SMTP mail server with my JasperServer 7.1.1 Enterprise edition which is installed in azure cloud Linux Rhel which does not have internet connection to install telnet or netcat nc. When I am trying I am getting connection timed out and could not connect to SMTP host errors...
