Figured out the solution. I was adding all the data in "background" band. hence it was truncating data and not adding the next page. Once I moved data to "details" band, it generated the next page depending on split type.

I'm using Jaspersoft Studio to generate jrxml file (used Blank A4 template to start) and then using jasperreports library in java in my microservice to generate PDF from that. However on generating PDF, it only shows one page; all the content which overflows is getting truncated and doesn't appear. Even if I add page break anywhere in the report, all the content below it disappears and the second page doesn't show up. (Same behaviour is see when I see PDF preview in Jaspersoft studio). I'm using version 6.6.0
