When I type ./ireport the splash screen displays and then in a few seconds, disappears. Is there as log so I can see what is happening? If not, how do I fix this?

Where can I find instructions for installing and running JasperStudio Designer in Linux. I have Eclipse installed but need to know what to do next? I have downloaded the TIB_js-studiocomm_6.11.0_linux_x86_64.tgz but I dont know what to do next?

I have been trying to get iReports loaded under Ubuntu for about 2 days and I am about to give up. I will be running jasperreports server in a Bitnamicontainer. But I need a tool to create the report. If I load up the Bitnami JasperReports container, that doesnt come with iReports in it. Right? What to do?
