  1. Ok, I've put some further investigation into this. When creating your custom component velocity tries to write its logfile to current working directory, which is not writeable as long as you don't start Jasper Studio as an Administrator. A workaround is to make your installation directory writeable to all users. This should be definitely fixed in Jasper Studio in the long run as this is not good practice. Regards, Philipp Neuser
  2. Hi! is there any news in this case? We are facing the same issue in Jasper Studio Professional 7.1.0 and 6.3.1. I'm tasked with evaluating how custom components can help us with a couple of problems we are facing and got stuck just in the beginning? Kind regards, Philipp Neuser
