Is there a way to change default "Class Type" when using the Datasheet and Query Dialog?

When using the Datasheet and Query Dialog it sets the class types as java.math.BigDecimal but i want it to be java.lang.double normally i can edit it in the dialog but its not showing up anymore is there a way to change it by default.
