Hi everyone!

I have a problem, I have a detail band (one) where there are some fields with height 1px. These fields have also "print when" so some fields are hidden.

When I switch in preview mode (java or pdf), the detail height expands over the components height, so I have the detail band that has a empty white space, like the image.

All the fields are in Position Type: float

This guy posted some years ago the same problem, without success replies.

I've used a rectangle that surround the subreport with these settings:

• Position type: float
• Stretch type: Relative to tallest Object
• Checked the flag Print Repeted Values
• Checked Detail Overflow

And it works.

Also if the expression is true the column is hidden. I'm working with a table in JasperReport version 6.5.0

Resolved, it was a preview issue. With the pdf preview it works great.

Hello guys,

I have this problem: I have a structure like a table but is not a table component, I'm using a horizontal layout. But if a field is blank the other fields aren't stretching occupying the hole row.

I need a structure like a table but when some fields are missing the table have to stretch.

I've tried to use a table component too, but without success.

The Jaspersoft Studio version is the 6.5.0.final

[Field overflow issue]

I have a problem with a textfield overflow. Like the attachment, the text goes over the field. I've tried to search a solution in this forum and on Google but without solutions.
