Hi C-Box, thanks for responding to my question. Yes- I did have 'Reprint Header' for my dummy group. the problem with a Dummy Group is they appear for every group. 'Reprint Header' will print the heading for each Dummy Header Group and I have two Crosstabs. Each with a different title. For example Crosstab 1 and Crosstab 2. How do i Dynamically print the heading for each Crosstab? So I will only print the relevant title above each crosstab. plus Crosstabs can go across many pages. Kind Regards, Perko

My Report has two Crosstabs using the same dataset. The crosstabs shows the data in two different ways and is working. Have built my crosstabs using Dummy Group Header/Footers. Crosstabs are in the Footers and Titles are in the Group Header. I have a requirement to show titles for each crosstab on each page. The crosstabs are currently going across multiple pages. Is there a way to make titleCell repeat for each page? Given both crosstabs use the same dataset. I can see creating two subreports might be a way to solve this but wanted to check before going down that path.

Thanks for your response and providing feedback. Have recreated the error using data source 'one empty record' and posted the jrxml above. The jrxml gets the same error. What have I done wrong? Thanks in advance.

Wish to add that i'm trying to sort a RowGroup and not a ColumnGroup

Trying to create a custom orderByExpression for my crosstab. Following the instructions in this link but keep getting the below error. What does this mean? Anyone had experience getting Jasper working with SQUID Proxy Server? I keep getting SSL Issues. Why would SQUID be blocking Jasper with HTTP/HTTPS requests? I'm trying to get Jaspersoft Studio Professional 6.3.0 working in my Network. I'm using the JIRA Rest API + Jasper JSON data adapter. We keep getting SSL issues. My Network is locked down. Internally I'm working with the dev ops guys to troubleshoot the issue. Wondering if people have seen this issue?

i have done this..created a custom data adapter. then you could create a subreport and pass this in via string. works fine

Has anyone ever used Jasper Reports and Jasper Reports Server to report from Splunk? How do you connect to the database and database method? Interested to hear from people who have done/doing this please?

Have a business requirement to produce reports via Jaspersoft Studio Professional 6.3.0 and my datasource is Jira v7.1.1 Come into an issue with Jira. MaxResults that can be returned from Jira Cloud REST API is 1000 records (JSON File). In some situation I need to bring back 2500 (JSON File) records. How can I get to these records with Jasper? I'm using the Jaspersoft Data Adapter = 'JSON File'. I can get my Jasper Report to bring back 100 or 150 records by changing the MaxResults in the call to Jira. Does Jaspersoft Studio Professional 6.3.0 support JSON Caching/Batching of the records? How can get Jaspersoft Professional 6.3.0 to read more than 1000 records? Have found a solution a solution via a third party product (CData-JDBC-Jira Driver). Has anyone been able to do this without paying for a third party product? http://cdn.cdata.com/help/BJB/jdbc/pg_caching.htm We are also using Jasper Reports Server 6.3.0. If there is anyway to utilize these technolgies. I'm interested to hear from people?
