Hi, I'm trying to generate a jasper report by using excel file as a data source. I've done the data source setup and even able to see preview of excel source file content. But I'm unable to display the same in report preview. I've dragged the fields to the report but it's showing only one cell value at a time. I even created a data set using the excel data source and used a table to display the data. But its not showing any record then. Can anyone please help me with the steps to generate a report with excel data source ? I'm using JasperSoft ireport designer 5.1.0 Thanks, Excelsior

Hi, I have a jasper report (in pdf) which I will be accessing through a web application - deployed in websphere server. This is deployed in a linux server and connecting to DB2. When I try to access the report I am getting "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" in logs and reponse gets timed out in browser. I am able to access the same from my local host by connecting to DB2 and deployed under tomcat server - so I hope jrxml file is not causing the trouble. We have raised the heap size to 2 GB in linux server but still doesn't make any result. Can anyone please help me to fix this issue ? appreciate your time on this. - Excelsior
