  1. Looks like I still have to tackle this issue regardless of which network I'm on. I've added the certificate to the keystore for Studio and Java and it still is giving me an error: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target Trying to find a way to ignore the certificate error but am not having much luck. Connections work fine with pgAdmin. This is on a Windows 10 OS.
  2. It turned out to be an SSL issue. Setting SSL to true ended up giving me a certificate error. Setting up my certificate hasn't fixed it yet, but I'm on the right track. Planning on setting up a VPN so I don't have to deal with certificates.
  3. I've used Crystal in the past and am wanting to try Jaspersoft instead. I'm assuming the tool to access a remote database and build reports is Jaspersoft Studio. While trying to make a connection, I'm unable to. Attached is a screen shot. I put in my correct server IP but it is trying to access my home WAN address (rather than my work IP that I entered). I'm able to connect using pdAdmin with no issues. What am I doing wrong?
