how do I change the Prompt Text?

I have a parameter named 'Qarter(1,2,3,4)' which takes the input of the Quarter. When I run it on my machine using the database, it runs properly. However, when I run it on my server, it does not take the value entered for this parameter. Instead it takes null. However, if I rename the parameter to 'Quarter', it works completely fine. It is necessary for me to keep 'Quarter(1,2,3,4)'. Any suggestions how I can do it?
