trying to pass a list of beans from JAVA to the jrxml as a parameter.. in the jrxml the list size is always '0'... how do i pass a list of beans from JAVA to the jrxml...?

Hi I have a main report with 5 subreports ... the issue i am facing .. the sub report is printing the column header at the end of page and then printing the header and detail on the next page... is there an attribute like minHeightToStartNewPage for subreports which can determine if the header and first row cannot be displayed on the page.. then start from new page ..? thank you
