@gnatali, I am using this plugin for web service. However, I am not able to find out how to use this for input controls ? Can you please point to some documentation or usage example to use this data source plugin in the jasper server input control ? Even after adding this plugin, in the input controls page, I am not getting option to use this data source as input control.

Yeah. I am still stuck due to that. I am even trying to modify the source code and providing a rest handler for input controls. Have downloaded the code, but have no idea where to start :( Isn't Rest service integration such a common thing now ? Not even finding a clue even where to start with in the source code to add webservice support for input controls. Do you have any idea ?

I want to use the response of a web-service call to be used as Input Controls. How can I achieve that ? I have searched in the forum and could not find any helpful documentation? In the input controls, I am seeing only option to hardcode the values or use SQL queries. But I need to integrate it with my webservices. can anyone point me where to look ?

Does Jaspersoft/Tibco still have commercial license and support ? I have been trying to contact Jaspersoft/Tibco for over 2 weeks about purchasing license, but nobody seems to be interested from Tibco/Jaspersoft side. If no one seems to be interested even in selling the product, how bad will the support be ? Can anyone who have purchased the license provide a feedback ?

Hi, I am completly new to Jasper reports. I am trying to do a poc with Jasper Resport Server and Studio. I need to generate a report using multiple web service responses. For eg: I have to list the employees, which invokes http://localhost:8282/hr/employees GET service with a token as header parameter. Also, I need to show a table in the bottom based on the some other field, say ethnicity. For that i need to invoke http://localhost:8282/hr/employees/groups GET service with the same token value in header. If I do with only one service, the report is working fine. However, if I add the 2nd web service as another dataset, the report fails with the error I saw a similar question in the forum, here But no answer for that. Can someone help me with this, or point me to the sample tutorials or documentation ? Japser studio version : 6.2.2
