Tuning for json only

I´m using JasperReports Server 6.3.0 + Rest API + jdbc DataSources only to generate JSON. Which are the best performance settings considering that I do not even use the graphical interface? Someone can help me to tune my JasperReport to best performance and stability? Thank you
