  1. My Database query, has me calling two different DB schemas. I've confirmed the database username can access the tables and run the query successfully . I can also run the report successfully via JasperStuido on my desktop with them same connection and username. For Example Select a.Name, a.Address, b.jobtitle From hr1.employee a, h2.jobtitles b
  2. I have this string of text being returned from a query. The description field returns this. “21:35:06.087D 09/23/15 Mt LOUIS CAR 52 TURNBACK ON TRACK MH-552-2AP” I would like the take only a small piece of the text and show that on my report. They small piece to show would be the “CAR 52” the car number can vary depending on the record. If car is not contained in the record show “Null” How can I use the expression builder to accomplish this?

  4. So when I run the report and apply certain paramaters the report returns no data. I get "This Document is empty" Some of the fields i'm using the sql nvl function. Thoughts?
  5. So I want the user to be able to sort by columns by clicking on the column header. However, the report has input paramater. Anyways around this?
