  1. To add a datasource for .csv or .txt files in Jasper Server there are no options available for selecting the .csv data adapter. Where as the options are availale in Jasper soft studio to create a datasource for .csv. Why Jasper reports server does not provide it? Will this issue get fixed in future releases? Are there any quick fixes for it like "Adding external .jars" / chaning the ".properties files"
  2. Thank you Thomas. I tried the solution provided. It always execute the .csv file loaded initially by reading from the repository. But in my project the .csv files constantly changes everday. I executed the answer you provided by replacing "Data .xml" with the "path of a file loacated" in data adapter file. First time the execution was successfull and Data.xml got loaded into repository. Next time when I execute the report it is not overwriiting the file in the mentioned location. From Jasper Server I wouls like to execute it with out loading. Is there any script to automatiaclly replaces the files in the Jasper Server Repository. Thanks in advance.
  3. Most of my data are from .csv/.txt files. Ceated a datasource for .csv file and could run the report in Jaspersoft studio. Then published that report in Jasperreports server, when I run the same report in jasper server I get output as "The report file as empty". I tried to create a datasource in the server ,but I don't find any options for .csv files, and also tried to create a data source using jdbc-odbc brige but failed. Can you please let me how to run a report in Jasperreports server with .csv file as a datas source. JasperReports server version used: 6.1.0 Jaspersoft Studio version: 6.1.0 Thank you.
