This post is a bit older but also need to know if jasper reports supports pdf a/3 by the use of a handy method. Or is it only a matter of setting up properties to support a bunch of metadata? a/3?

Hi, my mainreport calls a subreport with the settinf of "runToBottom". The subreport print the page footer on the first page, but the following pages are without the page footer. The page footer is turned off by use of the print when expression page number > 1. However, the column footer band is not printed at the bottom of the pages > 1. It seems, that the engine still keeps the existing of the page footer band in memory and places the column band to that known position again, although the situation meanwhile changed. Can you help? Or fix it. I am using the report engine 6.1.0. and could not find a workaround. Thank you in advance Cheers, Ralf
