Hi all, I am currently using jasperserver 5.6.1. I have a mandatory field in my report, which when I view the report, it prompts me to input and there show a message "This field is mandatory so you must enter data.". The input field has a default "[NULL]" display, I try to get rid of it by setting the parameter with <defaultValueExpression><![CDATA[""]]></defaultValueExpression>. Since then the mandatory message disappeared even though the control input mandatory checkbox is still checked. Does anyone has any idea? Thanks for help! Justin

Hi afomin, The problem is due to the directory of report that the main report refering is different from the directory shown in web console! It is a report migratioin problem :). I updated inside the main report and the problem resolved. Thanks. Justin

Hi everyone, When I try to open a url on 1 report result column value, the value is supposed to be passed to other report and display the result. Howerver it keeps showing "You must apply input values before the report can be displayed." message. I tried to uncheck the always prompt checkbox and press apply on the parent report input prompt but with no luck. I only have this problem when using version 5.6.1, and in 3.5.0 it works just fine. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks. Justin
